Irish Rail is warning of delays to one of its morning services after an incident at a level crossing in Roscommon.
The 07.15 Westport/Heuston service was delayed for over an hour after what was described as a 'strike' at the level crossing at Knockcroghery.
It's not yet clear the exact nature of the incident and Irish Rail now claims the service has been delayed by up to 40 minutes.
In March significant damage was caused at the same level crossing when a car smashed through the barriers.
