Strokestown GAA say it's awaiting the return of test results from a club member who has felt unwell before it passes on contact tracing information it has gathered.
The club has suspended all activities as a precautionary measure and is confident that it has followed all the guidelines issued by the GAA to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
The current protocol is that when a person becomes unwell, they and their family are tested, and contact tracing information is only passed on to the HSE if that test is positive.
David Neary is PRO of the club - he told today's Let's Talk that they have acted swiftly to ensure the safety of everyone.
