Second-level students across the Shannonside region have been receiving their Junior Certificate results this afternoon. They're among almost 73-thousand junior cycle pupils nationwide who sat the exam last year.
The Irish Times reports an average of 4 per cent of students earned the top grade of 'distinction' across 25 papers. These students in CBS Roscommon were happy enough with their results:
