Students considering studying at TUS Athlone in September are being encouraged to attend the university's open evening next week.
Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in demos, walk and talk tours as well as meeting with academics and current students.
There will also be special advice for CAO applicants as the change of mind facility opens next month. The event takes place on Wednesday April 19th from 6 to 8pm.
Claire Connor, Student Recruitment Officer says TUS Athlone has a lot to offer.
"We have healthcare. We have our nursing, so general, mental health, dental, and veterinary when it comes to nursing at Athlone. But we also have areas of engineering and informatics so you're talking mechanical, the construction side of things, so civil and quantity surveying, and you also have the areas of software and computer side of things within engineering. Then we have our design department within mechanical, polymer, and design where you can do the likes of graphics, animation and illustration and also have our brand new music and sound engineering studios and laboratories".
