Submissions or observations on a significant urban regeneration project in Roscommon will close on Monday.
The 'Putting the Spokes Back In The Wheel Project'' would see new park and cycle ways along the Circular Road from the Lanesboro Street Roundabout to the Athlone Road Roundabout constructed.
Included in the works is the creation of several controlled and uncontrolled crossings on the busy route as well as the demolition of the existing Library Store building and the redevelopment of the parking area next to the Roscommon Arts centre.
It will also see the creation of links from the perimeter to the centre of the town.
9.2 million euro in funding under the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund was allocated to the project in 2021.
Public submissions will close at 5pm on January 23rd.
