There was success for 2 local TUS students at the national Chef Awards this week.
Athlone resident, Martin Duffy, took home the Gold medal in the chocolate sculpture category with his chocolate windmill.
While Kayleigh Hannon, from Roscommon Town, won a silver medal for here sage-infused butternut squash prawn risotto.

Both are students in the Athlone campus studying culinary arts.
