The good weather is set to continue as high pressure continues to bring sunny spells and highs of 22 degrees, according to Met Éireann.
Today will be a mixture of cloud and sunny spells, with a light northeasterly breeze.
The best of the sunshine will feature in the south.
Met Éireann forecaster Matthew Martin says the good weather will continue into next week.
'The weekend will see a mix of cloud and sunshine but it looks like next week will see a good deal of sunshine right across the country.
At that stage we expect the best of the temperatures to be across the West of the country as we pick up an easterly air flow, so it will be a little cooler along the east coast.
East coast.'
