Supermacs boss says pandemic restrictions will impact tourism for a number of years

A leading businessman in the Shannonside region believes it will take a number of years for tourism to fully recover from the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Pat McDonagh of Supermacs and owner of a number of hotels says his businesses
have had mixed results in terms of loss of revenue in the last eight months.

Depending on location and out of the cities, Pat McDonagh says some areas have
performed better.
