Co Longford registered the largest increase in new .ie domains in 2021 when compared to pre-pandemic levels.
There were 567 new registrations in the county, an increase of 126% on pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
Meanwhile, Co Monaghan ranked fourth in new domain registries over the same period, with 394 new registrations resulting in a 57% increase.
Elsewhere, there was a 12% increase in Cavan, a 30% increase in Leitrim, and a 21% increase in Roscommon.
David Curtin, Chief Executive of .ie, says it's in response to the growing awareness of how vital e-commerce it for small and medium businesses.
