Shoppers in Roscommon are being warned they might meet some warriors on the Square in the town today as part of the Táin March festival.
The festival began in 2011 and sees people march between Roscommon and Louth to mark the epic tale of The Cattle Raid of Cooley.
The story was told at the Rathcroghan Visitors Centre last night and members of a youth theatre in Louth will perform some of it on the Square in Roscommon town today at 2 o' clock.
A similar performance will also take place at the Rathcroghan Mound car park at 5 o' clock this evening.
