Members of the public will have the opportunity to discuss the future of Irish agriculture and land use at a special event in Carrick-on-Shannon later this month.
Farmers' and citizens' organisation Talamh Beo is organising the event at The Landmark Hotel on October 15th.
'Our Food, Our Future: Agro-ecology not Agri-business', will explore how farmers and citizens can produce food in a more sustainable way.
Farmers and other producers from all over Ireland are expected to attend the meeting.
