Lough Funshinagh residents say they're disappointed the Tánaiste failed to provide clarity on a permanent solution for flooding this morning.
Micheál Martin is meeting local residents and public representatives in Ballagh and Curraghboy in south Roscommon today.
It follows recent visits by Taoiseach Simon Harris and OPW Minister Kieran O'Donnell.
Works to install an overflow pipe are not expected to commence until next year but there are hopes a temporary solution can be implemented this summer.
Local resident Liam Kenny, who met the Tánaiste in Ballagh this morning, said Mr Martin was clearly shocked by what he saw.
However, Liam said residents were left disappointed that no commitment has so far been made in terms of a permanent solution:
