The Fianna Fáil leader says his party would be open to adding further services at Roscommon Hospital. Micheál Martin visited Roscommon town yesterday evening as the General Election campaign enters its final week. One of the main local issues in recent years has been the delay in constructing a Rehabilitation Unit at Roscommon Hospital.
It was planned back in 2015, when almost €8m was allocated to the project however it remains only at design stage. Speaking in Roscommon Town yesterday, Micheál Martin said although there has been an expansion of services at the hospital, they can do more:
