Tarmonbarry will play host to a special Halloween celebration this October Bank Holiday as part of a local heritage and tourism event.
The Kilbarry Heritage and Tourism Initiative will make its bow on the 31st of October as part of a spectacular celebration to mark the ancient festival of Samhain.
Described as a 'Grand Festival of Celebration, Culture and Craic', the event will kick off at Noon with a number of attractions for children.
Among the activities will be a real Witch Hunt, Donkey Racing, face-painting and face-pulling, a bouncy castle and many other traditional Halloween games and traditions.
The celebration will continue throughout the day and into the evening with traditional music, singing, a 'Samhain Show' and a 'Rising of the Dead' taking over the village.
