Taxpayers across the Shannonside Northern Sound region are being urged to collect their €1,800 "windfall" after it emerged that €620 million in overpaid tax has still to be claimed.
TaxBack.com says the figure comes on the back of recent provisional figures from Revenue.
2022 has seen record levels of inflation, jumping to a 40 year high and hitting the pockets of Irish households hard.
Taxback.com is therefore advising taxpayers in Roscommon, Longford, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan, and east Galway to claim back their refund now.
Mark Corcoran of TaxBack.com says the money has accumulated over the last three years by one million taxpayers.
"These are actually figures that Revenue themselves have released over recent weeks. And I suppose the most startling figure is one of €620 million that has been overpaid in tax over the last 13 years by more than 1 million tax payers around Ireland. So when you think about that, that is a lot of Irish workers who have paid to much tax and are entitled to claim that back."
