A young man in his teens remains in a serious condition following a crash in Longford over the weekend.
Gardaí were alerted to a single vehicle collision in Aughnacliffe in North Longford in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his teens, was seriously injured during the collision and remains in a critical condition at Beaumont Hospital.

Investigations are ongoing at this time and Gardaí are urging anyone in the area at the time, especially if they have dash cam footage, to contact Granard Garda Station.
Separately, a motorcyclist was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital later that same day following a two vehicle crash on the N4 near the Axis Centre.
