A 15-year-old boy has died after a swimming accident earlier this week.
He got into difficulty on Tuesday in Lough Sheelin, which borders Cavan, Westmeath and Meath.
He was brought to Temple Street Hospital in Dublin and was pronounced dead yesterday evening.
Two other people lost their lives in drowning incidents in Cavan and Leitrim on Wednesday night.
The man who died in Spencer Harbour has been named as Michale Hoey, from Carrickmacross in County Monaghan.
He died after failing to re-surface from a diving trip at the popular waterway on Wednesday night at around 9pm.
Natasha Core, a mother of two, lost her life in a tragedy in Loch Gowna also on Wednesday night.
She entered the water to rescue her son when she got into difficulty and drowned.
