A planning application for a temporary solution to the south Roscommon flooding crisis will be lodged this week.
Taoiseach Simon Harris is confirming Roscommon County Council will submit it to An Bord Pleanála before Friday.
There had been concern around the Lough Funshinagh area it had not been lodged by the end of last month, as planned.
The Taoiseach is hopeful the pipeline will be in place before the winter – preventing more homes from being flooded.
