The tender has bene published for the construction of a new headquarter for the Civil Defence in County Roscommon.
In September of last year, the Council approved special planning permission for the development at the Ballyboughan Business & Industrial Park
The project is expected to cost over two million to develop, with the state of the art building also comprising an archive store for Roscommon County Council on its second floor.
According to tender documents published this week, the building will consist of two stories with the ground floor of the building being used for Civil Defence Headquarters
An appliance bay of double height will be used by the civil defence for vehicle storage and the development will also include an external Boat storage shed which be located seperate to the main building.
The deadline for responses is the 16th of December next.
