Tenders are being sought for a multi-million euro extension and refurbishment of Athlone Fire Station. The project involves the extension of the existing fire station appliance bay including cost optimal energy upgrades and refurbishment of welfare blocks on site. The tender will include design, engineering and electrical installation services among others. The full project is set to cost over €2.9 million, with funding granted from the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government.
