Two calls were reported to Longford Gardaí yesterday afternoon regarding suspicious devices.

Staff and customers at the Longford Shopping Centre and Dunnes Stores on the Dublin Road were forced to leave the centres with immediate effect just before 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

The nature of the concerns that lead to the evacuations have not yet been confirmed by Gardaí.
