A number of sports clubs from across the Shannonside region have been awarded a Texaco sports grant.
The funds will help the clubs undergo major upgrades, plan and promote events.
The Texaco Support for Sport initiative have been selecting winners from each county's sports associations.

Longford Tennis Club was presented the 5000 euro award to help increase its membership and encourage more people to participate in competitions.
Leitrim's Carrick Town Football Club will invest the money to help grow the age group of membership.
While Roscommon's Boyle Camogie Club intends to use the money to fund the construction of a new skills wall.
Texaco has earmarked 15 thousand euro for the region's sports clubs, out of a total fund of 130 thousand euro for 25 clubs across the nation.
