194 thousand homes are without power this morning as a result of Storm Ellen.
There is severe flooding in West Cork and trees down across the country.
A yellow wind warning remains in place in Leinster ,Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon and Sligo until 8am.
In Leitrim, 910 customers are without power, with outages affecting 715 customers in Keshcarriggan and 633 near Leitrim Village.
Thousands are without power in Longford also, with over 1200 in the Longford town area in the dark this morning, and 762 in Drumlish.
In Roscommon, the town sees over 1700 people without power as well as 400 people near Tulsk, 500 near Rathcroghan, over 400 in Castlerea
Ballinasloe is also badly affected, with 3700 people without power in the region this morning, and 1100 in the wider Ballygar area.
According to AA Roadwatch, a tree is down on the N61 outside Athlone at the roundabout just off the N6 at J12 Roscommon and several trees are down on the N55 between Granard and Cavan.
