Locally the Shannonside region is still struggling with dozens of power outages.
1,200 customers in Arigna are still without power this lunchtime and 84 in Drumshanbo and just under 200 in the Lough Scur area.
240 customers in Mohill and over 200 in the Fenagh area as well as 144 in customers in Drumsna and 120 in Carrick-on-Shannon are also off the grid.
In Longford 1,200 people near Clonbalt Woods housing estate are still without power with a 9pm tonight estimated restoration time and over 3,000 people in the greater Lanesboro areas are also still off the grid and over 200 near Newtowncashel.
In Roscommon, around 1500 customers are without power in and around the town area itself as well as 400 homes near Kilrooskey without electricity, and 156 near Knockcroghery.
120 customers in Boyle are without power, and with four faults in Castlerea under 100 customers are without power.
Ballinasloe was very badly affected earlier today, 1600 remain without power, while in Athlone, and 1500 in the dark in Athlone.
The majority of homes and businesses in Cavan and Monaghan have had their power restored this lunchtime.
