Three men remain in garda custody this morning following a large street party in Castletroy, Co Limerick.
Gardai were alerted to reports of a gathering near the University of Limerick yesterday evening.
Two men in their 20s were arrested on public order offences, while another man was arrested for a drugs offence.
The University Of Limerick says it will take 'strong disciplinary measures' against any student found to have breached public health guidelines.
Gardai also issued 30 fixed payment notices for breaches of the Health Act.
Limerick councillor Seán Hartigan was at the scene last night.
