The arrests come as part of the Garda investigation into organised criminal activity and burglaries in Mayo, Roscommon, Longford, Westmeath and Sligo.

Three arrests have been made in relation to close to 30 burglaries across the Shannonside region.
The arrests come as part of the Garda investigation into organised criminal activity and burglaries in Mayo, Roscommon, Longford, Westmeath and Sligo.

Gardaí searched four properties in the Dublin Metropolitan Region and seized a number of items which are believed to be the proceeds of organised criminal activity.
Among the items seized by Gardaí were a Rolex watch, designer handbags and shoes, mobile phones, multiple car keys, and log books of vehicles.
Gardaí also seized substantial amounts of cash.
Three males, aged 26, 21 and a juvenile, were arrested in relation to the case and taken to Garda stations in the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford division, where they are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
