Three drivers arrested for drug driving in Leitrim

Three motorists have been arrested having tested positive for drugs whilst driving in Co. Leitrim.

The detections where made during a mandatory intoxicant checkpoint in the county over the weekend.

Over 50 motorists were stopped with one driver also arrested for drunk driving.

Two motorists were found to be driving unaccompanied on learner permits and their vehicles were seized.
