Three firms are already set to lined up to occupy space at Longford's new remote working hub.
The €1.5m co:worx project is open officially today at the former Ulster Bank premises in Edgeworthstown.
The building comprises of meeting rooms, offices, a fully equipped sound studio as well as canteen facilities and multiple car parking spaces
The project was the brainchild of the town's regeneration committee, headed by up local businessman Hugh Quinn.
He says the closure of the bank was a dark day for the town - but this project shows it has successfully bounced back :
"There was a sense of decay in the town and we were losing our Main Street. So again with the help of the Council and the regeneration team and of course with the development of the community library in town, we have changed Edgewortstown.
We have changed the main street. we want it to be a place for families and new businesses and this will help that."
