Midland Language centre is also in the running for Longford and director Angela Brady says it's a huge honour for them to be recognised.
''We now welcome students on programmes all across Ireland, so we welcome junior students, teenagers from Europe to stay with Irish families and improve their English language skills and experience the Irish culture. There's very strong competition but we're looking forward to it and we're honoured to be part of the group of fantastic companies nominated and also representing Longford on that stage. We've adapted over the years as things have changed through the pandemic or introducing academic year programmes, mini stays and internships.''
