Three people are due back in court next month following an aggravated burglary in Longford this week.
Two men suffered serious facial injuries following alleged incidents at an apartment and a business premises on Wednesday evening last.
25-year-old Michael O'Brien, of 4 Fraynes Gardens, Kenagh, was charged with three counts of assault causing harm, as well as aggravated burglary.
Mullingar District Court heard that after an alleged assault on one man at an apartment in the town following a row, he followed another man who was at the apartment back to Great Water Street in the town, where the alleged aggravated burglary and a second assault occurred at a business premises.
42-year-old married father of four Paul Owens, of 27 Oakvale, Longford, was charged with assault causing harm as well as aggravated burglary and mother of one, 27-year-old Shauna Harper, of Apartment 1, Take 2, Bed and Breakfast, Main Street Longford was also charged with aggravated burglary at the same location.
All three were granted bail, subject to conditions, and are due back in court in Longford on June 8th for DPP directions.
