A family friend of a Strokestown family whose home has been at the centre of a repossession row for almost two years says they have been treated with total disrespect.
Two men are due before the High Court this afternoon after being arrested just after 8am in connection with a breach of a High Court re-possession order at the property in Falsk.
One man was arrested at the home in Falsk, while the other individual was arrested in Longford just after 8am.
A security company erected green mesh fencing outside the property following the arrests , while up to ten men were observed in the yard of the house.
A garda presence is also being maintained outside the house.
Earlier this month Judge Leonie Reynolds ordered the arrest of anyone found to be in occupation of the house which was the scene of a controversial eviction in December 2018
