Taoiseach Simon Harris has confirmed the travel ban against Roscommon's Tori Towey has been lifted and they will bring her home as soon as she is ready. 28-year-old Tori Towey had been charged with attempted suicide and alcohol consumption after escaping an alleged attack by her husband.
The Ballaghaderreen native moved to the country last year and has been working as a flight attendant for Emirates Airlines. Simon Harris has now confirmed the ban has been lifted and Embassy staff will take her to the airport shortly. The Taoiseach also stated the Embassy will continue to follow up on the case in Dubai:
