Tributes have been pouring in for a former Roscommon Ladies footballer who passed away following an illness on Saturday.
The close-knit community of Fourmilehouse was plunged into sadness following the untimely death of Rochelle Mullaney.
The Kilbride and Roscommon footballer, who only turned 30 last September, had been diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2021.
She had spoken out in recent years about the importance of smear testing for young women.
Rochelle will be laid to rest tomorrow morning in Derrane following funeral mass in St Brigid's Church, Fourmilehouse.
A former club and county teammate has paid tribute to Rochelle or 'Rocky' as she was affectionately known.
