Tributes are being paid to traditional musician and Castlerea native Eddie Kelly who has passed away.
The well-known fiddle and accordion player, who was from Meelick in Galway originally, was widely known as one of Ireland's best traditional music composers.
The Galway native had been living in west Roscommon for a number of years and has been described a gentleman and one of the finest musicians of his era.
He was a long time member of the Aughrim Slopes Ceili Band as well as Comhaltas Ceoltiri Eireann.
