Tributes are being to a Longford man who founded a north west based charity which assisted people with neurological illnesses.
Edgeworthstown native Declan Walsh passed away in hospital this week in Galway, following a short illness.
He established the Neurology Support Centre in Sligo after his wife, Dr Natalie Murphy, suffered a serious brain injury in 2013.
The charity offered a wide range of counselling and support services, with dozens of tributes being paid online to the popular Longford man following his death earlier this week.
His funeral is due to take place tomorrow in Sligo.
