Tributes are being paid to a much loved local priest following his passing yesterday.
Fr. Donal Morris who was the Parish Priest of Kilbegnet and Glinsk in the Diocese of Elphin, died yesterday morning.
He grew up in Ballinaheglish, in the parish of Oran in Co. Roscommon where his parents Kathleen and Eamonn still live.
Bishop of Elphin, Kevin Doran has been paying tribute, saying that they will certainly not forget him anytime soon and offered his condolences to Fr Donal's family.
Local Councillor and Friend of the deceased, Anthony Waldron says that Fr. Donal was an integral part of the community.

Father Donal Morris will be reposing at Smyth's Funeral Home, Roscommon on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm, followed by removal to the Church of St Patrick, Ballinaheglish. Requiem Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at twelve noon, with burial afterwards in Oran Cemetery.
