The Kilmovee native led Leitrim to their first Connacht title in 67 years in 1994 and managed Galway to two All-Irelands.

Tributes have been pouring in following the passing of a local GAA legend.
GAA manager and former Fine Gael TD and senator, John O'Mahony, died on Saturday in a Galway hospital, at the age of 71.

The Kilmovee native led Leitrim to their first Connacht title in 67 years in 1994 and managed Galway to two All-Irelands.
Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan, from Boyle, has been paying tribute to his former Fine Gael colleague.
