Nationally, Limerick University Hospital is facing 112 people in their ED this morning.

Hospital management say they are currently managing five COVID outbreaks on site.

Nationally, 545 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country this morning with 100 waiting in University Hospital Limerick.

17 people are waiting for a hospital bed this afternoon in Mullingar, the majority on trolleys.

Mullingar Hospital has also enacted their escalation procedures this morning, as 19 patients are waiting onsite.

In total, there are 510 patients waiting on trolleys across the country today.

Hospitals across the Shannonside Northern Sound region are currently dealing with a total of 93 patients on trolleys.

Sligo Univeristy Hospital is the worst affected with 50 people waiting for a hospital bed whilst Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe has 29 people waiting in it's ED.
