Tulsk man shares secret to record breaking sale at Elphin mart

A Roscommon famer says the secret to a record breaking five figure sale is in a cow's tame manner and good pelvis area.

Cattle dealer, Martin O'Connor sold one of his in-calf heifers for ten thousand euro at Elphin Mart.

The Tulsk man is widely known for his annual sale with thousands of people watching the event online.

Mr O'Connor travels the country buying heifers and works on the animal for 12 months before selling.

Speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show the cattle dealer said his cow was a real beauty.
