The Child and Family Agency, Tusla is issuing an appeal for properties in Castlerea and Longford.
The State organisation which is responsible for improving wellbeing and outcomes for children is looking for high-quality, bespoke accommodation for the provision of its services in the region.
While Tusla try to construct or upgrade buildings, partner with the HSE in respect of accommodation in Primary Care Centres, or direct leasing of suitable premises, this has not been successful in the two local towns.
In a statement the agency says the accommodation required ranges from 500 to 2,500 sqaure metres and will be acquired by way of fixed term leases.
Any property owners in Castlerea or Longford are asked to submit an expression of interest before the end of this month.
