Two men have been arrested in Roscommon following a number of Garda searches yesterday morning.
€15,000 in cash and a quantity of illegal drugs were found during the search of two residences in Rooskey.
The searches were conducted as part of Operation Tara and included Gardai attached to the Roscommon/Longford Drugs Unit, the North Western Armed Support Unit and local Gardaí.
The drugs, believed to be cocaine and cannabis herb will now be analyzed by Forensic Science Ireland.
A man in his late 20s and another in his early 30s were initially held at Roscommon Garda Station, but have since been released with a file to be prepared for the DPP,
