Two bodies have been discovered in two separate Meath locations.

The body was discovered on open ground at Kilbride, on the outskirts of Ashbourne yesterday afternoon.
The person was found dead in unexplained circumstances.

The scene was still sealed off overnight for a technical examination by the Garda Technical Bureau.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and the results of the post mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation.
