Local gardaí arrested two drivers for drug driving over the bank holiday weekend.
The first motorist was caught doing 90 kilometres per hour in a 50 kilometre per hour zone
After a drug swab test was carried out, they tested positive for cocaine and were arrested.

The second incident involved a vehicle caught speeding on the Dublin Road in Longford Town. Further checks revealed that the driver was also disqualified. They were also under the influence of cocaine and were arrested.
Both drivers will face court in the near future
