Roscommon town's Electoral District recorded the highest number of localised Covid 19 cases in the last fortnight in the Shannonside region.
116 cases have been confirmed in the town Municipal District according to the latest data from the Covid-19 hub.
Boyle M.D's case numbers were at 46 in the last 14 days, and 38 cases were confirmed in the Athlone M.D during the past fortnight.
In the Athlone M.D on the Westmeath side of the River Shannon, 36 cases were also recorded in the last 14 days.
In Longford, the town's M.D also recorded 108 cases in the last two weeks which resulted in an incidence rate per 100,000 of 673 - well above the national average of 389.
68 cases were confirmed in the Ballymahon M.D as well as 28 cases in the Granard M.D in the same two-week period.
In Leitrim, the M.D with the highest number of Covid cases was in the north of the county in the Manorhamilton Electoral area where 62 new Covid cases were confirmed
39 new cases were confirmed in Carrick-on-Shannon electoral area in the last 14 days and 12 in the Ballinamore M.D.
