Two local towns are set to benefit from major new funding announced today. Strokestown in Co. Roscommon and Drumshanbo in Co. Leitrim will receive the funding under the Rural, Regeneration and Development Fund.
Strokestown will receive over €7.8m which will deliver an enhanced public realm for the town centre.
Meanwhile, Drumshanbo will benefit from over €6.1m worth of funding to repurpose two vacant buildings in the town centre into the ExCHANGE Smart Hub Facility.
The project will also deliver a riverside amenity experiences and enhancement works to People's Park.
