Over 300 Covid cases have been confirmed in County Longford in the last fortnight.
Two electoral areas in the county have recorded 134 and 121 cases respectively in between the 28th of September and the 11th of October.
On Monday, the country's 14-day incidence rate was 394 cases per 100,000 people.
But eight local electoral areas had rates of over twice that. - including two in County Longford.
Ballymahon M.D's Covid incidence rate is twice the national average at 854 after 121 cases in the latest 14-day reporting period.
Longford town's M.D also recorded a total of 134 cases - resulting in a COVID incidence rate of 835.1
46 cases were confirmed in the Granard M.D - its Covid rate is 431.
117 cases of Covid were confirmed in the Roscommon M.D in the last fortnight - resulting in a Covid incidence rate of 514 - still well above the national average of 394.
66 cases were reported in the south Roscommon electoral area of Athlone - with the same number of cases recorded in Boyle's electoral area.
In Leitrim, 50 cases were confirmed in the Carrick-on-Shannon M.D in the last two weeks - with thirty in the Ballinamore electoral area and 48 cases in the Manorhamilton Municipal District.
The area with by far the highest rate in Ireland is Waterford City South, at 1,250 with the lowest rate in the country in Belmullet in Co Mayo, at 103.
