Two Longford musicians are bidding to represent Ireland in this year's Eurovision.
Kofi Appiah and Nevlonne Dampare will perform their song "Down in the Rain" on the Late Late Show on Feburary 3rd.
They'll go up against other artists such as Wild Youth, and Sex Pistols frontman, John Lydon and his band "Public Image Limited".
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show, they say that they'd be honoured to represent Longford on the world stage and are in it to win it.
"It'd mean the world to us, honestly. For two lads from Longford, two local lads, to go ahead and go to Eurovision, it would mean the world to me and I think it'd mean the world to the county, to bring something different and fresh to Eurovision, it would be great for Ireland, honestly. We're in it to win it. We don't want people to think that just getting to this stage is enough. We want to win it and we're going to put in all the work".
