Two men in their 30s have been charged following an assault in Leitrim.
The incident happened in Carrick on Shannon around midnight on Tuesday.
Two men, one aged in his 30s and the other in his 40s, were assaulted and taken to Sligo University Hospital for treatment.

It's understood the men sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai arrested and detained two men at Carrick on Shannon Garda station in a follow up investigation.
Both have since been charged and appeared before Sligo Discrict Court yesterday.

One man was released on bail to appear again while the other is due to appear before court via video link next Tuesday.
Investigations are ongoing.
