Among the charges, the three are accused of burglaries at Frenchpark Post Office, O'Connor's Bar and Restaurant and BS Exhaust in Tulsk along with McSharrys in Four mile house, Daybreak in Knockcroghery and a residential property in Donamon.

The three have also been charged with two burglaries in Cavan, one at Muldoon's Garage, Cavan and another at the Stradone Community Centre.

Offences in Dublin, Westmeath and Navan also form part of the Garda case.

The two men in their 40s did not seek bail and have been remanded in custody to appear via video link at Harristown District Court on the fourth of October.

The court heard that the youth did not want to take up bail but due to a shortage of beds at Oberstown youth detention centre, the state was not in a position to remand him in custody.

Judge Faughnan criticised the Oberstown Centre for the lack of space and called for its expansion.

The youth was remanded on a non cash bail bond of €100 to appear at Roscommon District Court on Tuesday the first of October.

His bail conditions include a daily sign on at his local Garda station and an order to stay out of Roscommon, Cavan, Westmeath and Offaly save for court dates.
