Two men are recovering in hospital following separate road crashes in Longford.
A man in his 60s was knocked down by a car in Longford town last night, on New Street in the town at around 6.30pm.
He was taken to the Midlands regional hospital in Tullamore with what have been described as serious injuries.
Earlier on Sunday, a man in his 60s suffered leg injuries in a crash involving a tractor in north Longford.
It's understood his tractor overturned as he was travelling to his home
He was airlifted to Tallaght university hospital where remains.
Gardai in Granard and Longford are appealing for witnesses to both incidents to contact them.
